ALLOWING COOKIES IN INTERNET EXPLORER
If you have installed your computer with high security settings, you
may be blocking cookies. (If you don't know what cookies are, don't
worry. You can set things up so you can use voteprotect.org and still
be safe.)
- In Internet Explorer, choose the "Internet Options..." item in the
"Tools" menu. This will bring up a window with a number of tabs.
- Click on the "Privacy" tab.
- You will see a slider. If the slider is set to the top, and reads
"Block All Cookies", you need to move it down one step to "High".
If the slider is at "Medium High" or below, you are done. Just
click "OK".
- If your Privacy slider is on "High", you must tell Internet
Explorer that voteprotect.org is a trustworthy site. Click on the
"Edit" button to bring up a window of "Per Site Privacy Actions".
Type "voteprotect.org" in the "Address of Web Site" window.
(IMPORTANT: don't type "www.voteprotect.org" or put "http" in
front of it.) Then click "Allow".
- Click "OK" on all windows until you are back to your browser
window. You should now be able to log in to
https://voteprotect.org/?jsc=1
